Wenonah Volunteer Fire Company
Recruitment Night
Tuesday, March 14 at 7:00 PM
Come learn about the Wenonah Fire Company and how you can help serve your community by becoming a member. This is a no pressure, relaxed information session and opportunity to meet your neighbors who make our fire company strong. We are looking for men and women 16 years and older.  No prior experience necessary.  For more info, send us a Facebook message or call 856-500-FIRE

Starting March 14th we would like to welcome local citizens and their dogs to Wenonah Lake to play and “chase away” the geese.  Every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:00pm – 6:30pm the gates at the Lake will be opened.  Please do not bring dogs that do not play well.  Also, we ask that you clean up after your dog.  Bags will be available.  These events are to humanely scare the geese off the property, convincing them they are not safe, not to hurt them.

Please be advised that there was an incident of vandalism to a residence last week. The Wenonah Police Department is asking residents to call 911 if they see any suspicious activity or persons.

In the interest of lowering vehicle speeds on our roads, especially Mantua Avenue, Borough Council is working with Wenonah Police Department for a one week intensive enforcement initiative.  It will take place the week of January 23, 2017.  Borough Council is committed to the safety of our pedestrians and we believe this effort will communicate loud and clear that we are serious about enforcement.
