This is an important message from the Borough of Wenonah Water Department:
Please conserve your water usage. We are experiencing serious drought conditions. We need to conserve water more than ever and we appreciate you cutting back on the water usage as the well running extremely low. Thank you for your cooperation.
This is an urgent reminder, when discarding old propane tanks (or any compressed cylinder/tank).
Please DO NOT put it in your recycle cart!!
Recently, there was a serious incident where a tank exploded at a recycling plant causing serious damage. It could also explode inside the recycle truck.
Propane tanks are accepted for disposal at the Gloucester County Solid Waste Complex in South Harrison Township.
The next collection is September 23, 2017.

Residents who wish to either trim or remove any "street tree" must contact Gary Odenbrett of the Shade Tree Commission @ 468-2627 in order to receive a "no cost" permit. This policy protects not only the interests of the borough, but also the residents, as a copy of the contractor's insurance is required upon commencing work. Contractors will be required to remove any tree debris from the "clear zone".
