The Borough has awarded a construction contract entitled the 2025 Borough of Wenonah Infrastructure Improvement Project to Landberg Construction.  Please note the construction project update for November 3, 2025.

 

* Maple Street is scheduled for full curb replacement, full sidewalk replacement on the south side, and select sidewalk replacement on the north side of the roadway thus resulting disturbance to the Borough’s Right of Way, which is typically sixteen (16) feet perpendicular to the curbline. Should any privately owned improvements be located within the Borough’s Right of Way, i.e. sprinkler systems and/or landscaping improvements, etc. these items will be removed by the contractor if found to be in conflict with the proposed construction and the responsibility for their repair and/or replacement shall lie solely upon the property owner and NOT the contractor.

Maple Street                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Roadway Paving in Maple Street is expected to begin on November 12, 2025 and end by November 18th, weather permitting.

Prior to the start of roadway paving operations, you will receive a notification from the contractor with additional detailed information about when the roadway paving work is anticipated to directly affect your property and require temporary movement of your vehicles to accommodate paving operations.

Upon receiving notification to move your vehicles, we ask that Maple Street Residents, and Residents on Stockton Avenue and Princeton Avenue, north of Maple Street, park their vehicles in the block between Maple Street and Buttonwood Street. Local residents should also practice care while using Maple Street and/or crossing Maple Street, at the various intersecting streets, as construction disturbance will likely be experienced.

We kindly ask that you please adhere to the instructions regarding the relocation of your vehicles to avoid interference with the contractor’s paving operations.

Access for local traffic and emergency vehicles shall be provided until the start of paving operations.

Trash pick-up shall continue to take place on Fridays. Trash removal shall be performed at 6AM and therefore, we ask that you please set your trash cans out at the street on Thursday night.

The contractor will attempt to limit your inconvenience to the greatest extent possible and we ask that you be mindful of the proposed construction and safety of the construction workers.
