In order to promote the aesthetic qualities of the Borough and to protect public safety, signage of any type is prohibited in the “clear zone”, per Ordinance 56-3.

The “clear zone” is defined as the area lying between the curbline and the paved portion of the sidewalk area. Where no paved portion exists, the “clear zone” is further defined as a distance of 12 feet measured from the curbline toward the property line.

Residents, please do your part and move any signage placed by your contractors (lawn service, roofers, painters, realtors, etc.) from the clear zone and onto your property.

Thank you.
