
On April 8th in recognition of Earth Month, Sustainable South Jersey partnered with the Wenonah Environmental Commission to host a hands-on volunteer day with a team from Veranova, a contract & development pharmaceutical manufacturing company based out of West Deptford, who came together to care for one of South Jersey’s treasured natural spaces, the Wenonah Lake Trail. The Borough would like to extend a special thank you to Scott Barnes and Matt Wood for organizing this event, members of the Environmental Commission who volunteered, Brian Nicholson for providing wood chips, and Dave Coates for transporting equipment and leading the volunteers on a walk around the trail.
