Borough of Wenonah Public Parks

Our town has several public parks, available year-round for our community to enjoy!

Wenonah Park

Wenonah Park is located in the center of town, along East Mantua Avenue between South East Avenue and South Clinton Avenue. On the North West corner of the park, you will find Veteran’s Corner, maintained by Post 192 of the American Legion.

The Park offers picnic benches, a walking path, and open green space for the public to enjoy at any time. Don’t miss visiting the Lion Statue and taking a peek at the Wenonah Library’s StoryWalk as you stroll through this beautiful space in the center of town!

Wenonah Park is home to many events throughout the year, including the Wenonah Farmer’s Market sponsored by the Woman’s Club of Wenonah; Independence Day Celebrations sponsored by the Lions Club, the Volunteer Fire Company, and the American Legion; the Lions Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt; the Lions Club Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony; Movies in the Park; and more!

The John and Kathy Howard Park at Wenonah Lake

The park at the lake is open to the public year-round other than during days of the swimming season.  With picnic tables, a relaxing view of the lake, and a playground for children, the park is a great spot for residents to enjoy throughout the seasons.

Events at the park include the Borough’s summer swimming season, the Lake Association’s One Night of Song and Dance in September, and many of the elementary school class picnics and other activities.

To rent the pavilion for an event contact the Borough office at 856.468.5228.

The park is open from dawn to dusk.
