The Borough of Wenonah Public Works Department will begin its routine fire hydrant flushing the week of Monday, May 13th through Friday, May 24th. Flushing will take place Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
During this time, some discoloration of the water may occur, in this event, we advise running your cold water tap closest to the water meter until the water is clear. Please refrain from washing clothes until the water clears up.
Flushing allows an opportunity to check the function of the Borough’s fire hydrants and is necessary to flush out the water mains to provide the best quality water to our residents year-round.
