A message from Mayor Dominy
Dear Wenonah Residents,
I hope this message finds everyone safe and sound. Our Borough has suffered extensive damage following this evening’s tornado event. First, if you need medical or emergency assistance, please call 911. Second, stay home or in a safe place. Do not venture out. Many trees are unstable. Third, please do not approach downed wires as many may be live.
With nightfall, it is difficult to see and dangerous to either walk or drive. Many of our streets are impassable. We have established a command post at the fire house with our emergency service and OEM.
We are assessing the damage and working diligently to clear the roads. We do not have an estimate of when power will be restored.
Be safe and be careful. God bless Wenonah.
John R. Dominy, Mayor of Wenonah
