Borough Receives Tree City USA Accreditation for 28th Year

Wenonah Borough has received accreditation from the Arbor Day Foundation for its 28th year of Tree City USA status.

The Wenonah Shade Tree Commission volunteer members continue their efforts in town ranging from planting, trimming, removals and documenting our rich and diverse street tree canopy. The efforts of Public Works and resident volunteers has helped us all in our tree loss recovery from the tornado of 2021. Wenonah Park and Wenonah Elementary School tree plantings have revitalized these borough gems so that future generations may enjoy their beauty and shade for generations to come.
