As we enter the summer season, please remember that setting off fireworks on public property is illegal. Careless actions by unknown persons using fireworks at Langston Field last New Year’s Eve caused a fire to the snack bar. This mistake cost the Borough’s insurance company $55,000 to repair the damaged property, not to mention countless donations and time by Wenonah Athletic Association volunteers and supporters to replenish their lost supplies. Let’s not let this happen again – say no to fireworks on Borough property!
