WENONAH PARK VOLUNTEER CLEAN UP
Volunteers are welcome to assist with the clean-up of Wenonah Park. Please note, we are asking for ADULTS ONLY to volunteer as there are tripping hazards, equipment use, and vehicle movement that could be dangerous to children.
Saturday, April 2nd
8:30am – noon
(Rain Date Sunday 4/3)
Volunteers are asked to report to the pavilion seating area. We will have area captains who will coordinate everyone into teams to cover the quadrants of the park.
If you drive, please park in the lots on NW/SW Ave. or NE Ave. past the community center. Please be sure to use crosswalks safely.
Please bring tools (be sure to label/mark your tools with your ID so we know what belongs to who at the end of the day).
What to bring:
Hard and soft rakes
Flat and rounded shovels
Wheel Barrels
Tarps
Leaf Blowers (battery pack type)
Garden Clippers for ivy removal
Gloves
Eye protection
Face masks if desired
Bottled Water
